Aims & Goals
The primary aim of the Cloud Tech App Engineer is to ensure stability of Pelican application deployed on a given infrastructure. There should be complete understanding of the Pelican architecture and integration aspects of all 3rd party softwares with which the Pelican Application Integrates. The Cloud Tech App Engineer will troubleshoot issues encountered in Pelican Application and provided resolution / workaround within the required SLA.
The primary aims of the Tech App engineer are:
• Ensure stability of Pelican application deployed on a given infrastructure
• Have a complete understanding of the Pelican architecture
• Troubleshoot issues encountered in Pelican application and provided resolution / workaround within the required SLA
• Integrate aspects of all 3rd party softwares with which the Pelican application integrates: IBM Web Application Server, Oracle Database, MQ, 3rd party web services
Key Responsibilities
• Understand technical requirements of customer to integrate with Pelican Application
• Technical documentation of client requirement and Pelican Integrated Solution
• Notify out-of-scope and change requirements identified during requirement gathering
Experience Level
• 3 - 4 years of experience in handling application related to BSFI domain
• Experience on 3rd party softwares such as IBM MQ Series, IBM WebApplication Server, Oracle Database - SQL Writing, PL/SQL(added advantage)
• BSFI Domain knowledge will be an added advantage
Educational Background
• BE or B-Com/BSc with relevant Diploma in Computer Technology
• Added Advantage: OCP Certification, IBM MQ Series Certification and IBM WebApplication Server certification
Essential Skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent man management skills
• Ability to coordinate/collaborate with relevant stake holders for closing issues/resolutions
• Should have experience in working on Windows and Unix (Linux, AIX, SUN, etc.) operation system
• Should have sound knowledge of DOS scripting and Shell Scripting
• Should have sound knowledge of client-server communication
• Exposure to IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM MQ Server, Oracle Database and SQL scripting will be an added advantage
